Pap Smear Test

A Pap smear test may be positive if condyloma or a vaginal wart is present. Typically in mild or localized dysplasia cases, a follow-up visit is advised following not less than two weeks. Generally loose abnormal cells may not be readily available for examination because they were removed during the initial visit. In cases of higher-grade results, a colposcopy or cervical biopsy usually follows. A Pap smear test may be positive if condyloma or a vaginal wart is present.
