What Is A Pap Smear
Some women don't know what is a pap smear, genital wart and cervical dysplasia, but without regular testing the disorder can go too far and cannot be treated with ordinary cryosurgery.
If atypical cells are found, doctors manage the situation with risk assessment, follow-up diagnostics, and appropriate treatment programs. This is a term referring to a traditional testing whereby a swab of loose cervical cells are captured and placed on a slide for examination under a microscope to check for abnormalities.
