Thin Prep Pap Test
If a thin prep pap test determines ASCUS, cryosurgery is not required, as this condition is not very serious and can disappear on its own.
It may cost a little more, but it offers increased sensitivity to finding atypical cells beyond what the conventional method offers, thereby, reducing the risk of a false negative.
