Molluscum
Many types of warts, veruccas and molluscum are caused by human papilloma virus, some strains lead to vaginitis and other serious problems.
It is a common disease in the USA and makes up about 1% of all skin disorders. The term refers to a benign viral disease of the epidermis of the human skin, caused by an unclassified member of the poxvirus group (another name is poxviridae).
Many types of warts, veruccas and molluscum are caused by human papilloma virus, some strains lead to vaginitis and other serious problems.

The diagnosis is clinically based upon the appearance of the lesions. The incidence of the disease is mostly in young adults and is greater among males (a male-to-female ratio is 5:1). Morbidity and mortality are limited if appropriate antibiotics are used. Many types of warts, veruccas and molluscum are caused by human papilloma virus, some strains lead to vaginitis and other serious problems.
