Ascus Pap Smear
If the ascus pap smear is not treated in a good time, the patient is running a risk of getting serious urinary infection, verruca, genital warts or cervical dysplasia.
A Digene Hybrid Capture Test is particularly helpful in this situation. Many pathologists will grade these as normal while others will grade them as abnormal. Defined as atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance, this term refers to the least abnormal grade.
If the ascus pap smear is not treated in a good time, the patient is running a risk of getting serious urinary infection, verruca, genital warts or cervical dysplasia.
