Agus Pap Smear
Agus pap smear (ASCUS) guidelines recommend cone biopsy with LEEP procedure or cyrosurgery to confirm human papilloma virus induced abnormality.
This condition may be related to adenocarcinoma, invasive cancers from other oragns (not cervix), or high-grade preinvasive squamous disease. Women with atypical glandular cells of undetermined significance should undergo colposcopy. Sometimes, even if colposcopy has not revealed any abnormalities, cervical conization is recommended.
